Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ReviseJob. By creating an account or using ReviseJob, you agree to these Terms.

1. ReviseJob service

ReviseJob provides software that helps contractors create, send, revise, approve or decline, electronically sign, and document change orders. ReviseJob is a software platform and is not a party to the agreement between a contractor and the contractor's customer.

2. Accounts and authorized use

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may use ReviseJob only for lawful business purposes and only for projects, customers, documents, and information you are authorized to manage.

3. Customer information

You are responsible for having an appropriate basis to provide customer names, email addresses, project information, attachments, and other information to ReviseJob. You are also responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you create or upload.

4. Change orders and electronic signatures

ReviseJob helps capture approval decisions, electronic signatures, timestamps, and document records. You are responsible for determining whether a particular change order, signature, approval process, or record satisfies the legal, contractual, licensing, insurance, regulatory, or project requirements that apply to your business.

ReviseJob does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that any change order, approval, signature, or generated document will be enforceable in every jurisdiction or circumstance.

5. Public beta

ReviseJob may be offered as a public beta. During the current public beta, access is provided without a subscription fee and no credit card is required for new beta accounts. Beta features may change, be added, be removed, or operate differently as the service develops.

If ReviseJob later introduces paid access, beta enrollment alone will not automatically enroll you in a paid subscription. ReviseJob will provide advance notice and require an affirmative action before a new beta user begins a paid subscription.

6. Paid services

If you later choose a paid plan, the price, billing period, renewal terms, and other payment details presented at checkout will apply. Payment processing may be provided by a third-party payment processor. Additional billing terms presented at checkout or in the billing portal may also apply.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use ReviseJob to violate law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malicious software, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, probe or bypass security controls, send unlawful or abusive communications, or upload content you do not have the right to use.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to ReviseJob. You grant ReviseJob the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, display, secure, back up, and otherwise handle that content for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

9. ReviseJob intellectual property

ReviseJob and its software, branding, interface, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the rights needed to use the service, these Terms do not transfer ownership of ReviseJob intellectual property to you.

10. Service availability and beta changes

We work to keep ReviseJob available and reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, security events, third-party services, or changes to the beta. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, ReviseJob is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every legal, contractual, accounting, tax, construction, or regulatory purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ReviseJob will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, data, or opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the service.

To the extent permitted by law, ReviseJob's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ReviseJob during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For a free beta account, that amount may be zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of these provisions may not apply to you.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using ReviseJob at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users, address suspected misuse or security risks, comply with law, or respond to a material violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as ReviseJob evolves. When a material change is made, we will provide reasonable notice through the service, by email, or by another appropriate method. The updated Terms will identify their effective date.
