This Privacy Policy explains how ReviseJob collects, uses, and handles information when contractors, customers, and other visitors use the service.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account and company information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, company details, authentication information, and account settings.

When ReviseJob is used for a change order, we may process customer names and email addresses, project information, change-order descriptions, pricing and schedule impacts, attachments, approval or decline decisions, electronic signatures, timestamps, document versions, and related records.

We may also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser or device information, security events, logs, and information about how the service is used.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate ReviseJob, authenticate users, deliver change orders and approval links, generate records and PDFs, send service communications, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, improve the product, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Customer information provided by contractors

Contractors may provide information about their customers so ReviseJob can deliver and document change-order approvals. The contractor is responsible for determining that it has an appropriate basis to provide that information and use ReviseJob for the applicable project.

4. Service providers

ReviseJob uses service providers to operate the product. These may include infrastructure and hosting providers, Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe for payment processing when paid services are used.

These providers may process information on our behalf or, in the case of certain payment services, under their own privacy terms. We share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, or improve ReviseJob.

5. Payment information

New public-beta accounts do not need a credit card. If you later choose a paid plan, payment-card details are handled by the payment processor rather than being stored directly by ReviseJob in ordinary application records. ReviseJob may receive billing identifiers, subscription status, payment status, and related account information from the payment processor.

6. Email communications

ReviseJob sends transactional emails such as account confirmation, password recovery, change-order approval links, reminders, and other messages necessary to operate the service. We may also send important product, security, beta, pricing, or policy notices.

7. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers, when a user directs or authorizes the disclosure, when reasonably necessary to protect ReviseJob or others, in connection with a business transaction, or when required by law or legal process.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide ReviseJob, maintain business and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, satisfy legal obligations, maintain security, and support legitimate business needs. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of information and why it is stored.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

You may update certain company and account information through ReviseJob. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, or other handling of personal information.

11. Children

ReviseJob is a business service and is not intended for children under 18.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ReviseJob evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the service, by email, or by another appropriate method, and the policy will identify its updated effective date.
